Thursday 29th May was a sad day at North Berwick Basketball Club as Marie Caie held her last coaching session. It was the end of season session for P5s, P6s and P7s so each of the groups had games followed by trophy presentations. The P7s were joined by coaches and past members for a mini tournament played on the full size court with the 10 foot baskets, a taste of what's to come in High School!

Primary 5
- Most Valuable Player - Ethan Hinton
- Coaches' Awards - Fraser Street and Sarah Tyrell
Primary 6
- Most Valuable Player - Cameron Campbell
- Coaches' Awards - Stuart Hagan and Lucy Mitchell
Primary 7
- Most Valuable Player - Finn Baxter
- Coaches' Awards - Scott Patey and Rachel Gleeson
Marie was delighted to receive a card and a gift voucher from the players and their families and flowers and a cake from the committee. Val Gray and Clare Mackle also step down this year and were presented with flowers.
Marie in her leaving speech highlighted how bright the future is for North Berwick Basketball Club with a great new coach in Craig Nicol and a brilliant committee with Jeanette and Kathleen staying on and Liz Noar and Anne Goodall joining.
We wish the Primary 7s good luck at High School and hope they continue to enjoy playing basketball.
