First Junior Jam of the season hits North Berwick

The first Junior Jam of the season is in North Berwick Sports Centre. Please aim to arrive at the Sports Centre at 6.45pm and bring along plenty to drink (water only please) and £2 to cover the referee costs. Please make sure you inform Marie if your circumstances change and you can't play as we always have plenty of people who want to play. The teams are as follows :

Welcome to the new season

Welcome to the new season to all our P6 and P7 members. We look forward to welcoming our new P5 members on the 8th September. This year we have some new coaches joining us, Sandy Watson, Ross Wilson, Pete Jeffries, Chris McHardy and Findlay Graham. There is a lot happening in basketball at u11 and u12 level this year, so it should be an exciting year ahead. We will keep you posted on anything coming up but its worth checking out the East Lothian and basketball scotland websites on a regular basis as well. You can find the links to these website on the right hand side of this website.

Basketball Scotland is launching its Future Starz initiative for u11s through to u14s, click here for more information. Also coming soon are the trials for the East Lothian under 12 teams, click here for more information on this.

Summer basketball.

There is no excuse not to keep your basketball skills up over the summer. In East Lothian there are 2 camps available:

Musselburgh Sports Centre
12-13th July

North Berwick Sports Centre
9-10th August

End of season

Hope everyone enjoyed the last session of the 2010/11 season, great to see so many ex-club members back! Congratulations to all our award winners and a sad goodbye to our Primary 7s, good luck in High School and keep up the basketball! Goodbye also to our coaches, Niall and Ruaridh who are both off to university, they will be a hard act to follow! Hope everyone has a great summer and look forward to welcoming the P5s and P6s back after the holidays.
