Enjoy your summer holidays

Well that's it then for another season. We wish good luck to all our Primary 7s at High School and hope they have enjoyed their few weeks of High School basketball sessions and that they continue with their basketball next year. Could this be the year the High School win the Scottish Cup? We have just finished the Primary 4 taster sessions and look forward to welcoming them into the Club in the Primary 5 sessions next year. Also this year for this first time we have run some girls only sessions to encourage more girls to take up the game and we hope many of the girls from these sessions will join the Club next season. So keep up with your basketball over the summer, whether its going to one of the Summer Camps or just playing in the garden! There will be lots of basketball to watch over the summer with the Olympics this year, also watch out for former Club members Gregor Gray and Ali Mackay. Gregor is playing in two European Championships over the summer, one with the Scotland Under 16 team and one with the Scotland Under 18 team. Ali is playing for Scotland Senior Men in the Small Nations Championships in San Marino. Watch out for news of how they get on via the basketballscotland website. Have a great summer!
