Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Merry Christmas to all the players and parents at the club from all the coaches and committee, we hope you have a great time over the holidays and come back on the 20th of January refreshed and raring to go. Please keep an eye on email and the website over the holidays as we have the opportunity for our club players to play in some games on the 16th of January, this will mainly be for those players selected for East Lothian. We then have some Youth League games on the 21st of January, so we will need to canvas availability for that.

Thursday 9th December - training on. Bring a change of shoes!

At the moment training is on this Thursday. After discussion with the Sports Centre staff it has been agreed that no one will be allowed to play or take part in the session wearing shoes that they have been wearing outside at school as the salt and dirt from the shoes are damaging the hall floor.

THEREFORE CAN EVERYONE PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THEY TAKE TRAINERS TO SCHOOL ON THURSDAY THAT THEY CAN CHANGE INTO BEFORE COMING INTO THE HALL. UNFORTUNATELY ANYONE THAT DOES NOT HAVE A CHANGE OF SHOES WILL HAVE TO SIT AT THE SIDE FOR THE WHOLE SESSION.

Thanks for your help in this matter.

The North Berwick Basketball Club committee.

Training cancelled

Due to the Sports Centre early closure, please note that there will be no basketball sessions on Thursday 2nd December. Cost of this session will be deducted from next term's fees.

Welcome to the new season!

Can't believe the summer holidays are over and its time for the club to start up again.  The committee and the coaches would like to welcome all the returning members and our new members.  We hope you enjoy this season with the club.  We welcome back the Primary 6s and 7s on Thursday 2nd September and our new Primary 5s on Thursday 9th September.

What did you do in the holidays?

What did you do on your summer holidays? There was no break from basketball from our Assistant Head Coach Niall Mackle and ex-coach Grant Mackay as they jetted off to Israel with the Scotland under-18 men's team to play in the European Championship. The team achieved 14th place which was the best placing ever achieved by a Scotland basketball team at any age level. Well done to the boys on such a great achievement!

For a report on the tournament click here to go to the basketball scotland website.
